The Prime Minister Received the Chairman of the Georgian Competitiveness Agency

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan today received Chairman of the Competitive Agency of Georgia Nodar Khaduri.

According to the Prime Minister, the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations are at high-level and dynamically developing and should continue with the joint efforts aimed at further expanding multifaceted cooperation, including the development of trade and economic ties. Karen Karapetyan welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition and the Georgian Competitiveness Agency, aimed at promoting and strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of competition policy and competition law.

Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister for the reception, the Chairman of the Georgian Competitiveness Agency noted that he had fruitful discussions with his Armenian counterpart and the parties jointly outlined the areas of cooperation and mutual interest.


The interlocutors exchanged views on the issues of providing equal competitive environment for both Armenian and Georgian companies and joint study of competitive obstacles. In this context, Prime Minister Karapetyan attached importance to revealing the peculiarities of pricing in specific commodity markets and conducting relevant studies.
