Presentation of Charents's "Dantesque legend" poem's Italian translation in Italy

On May 6, Armenian Ambassador to Italy Viktoria Baghdasaryan participated in the presentation of the Italian translation of the poem by the Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, "Dantesque legend", in the Kazanatence Library in Rome.
 
The work has been translated into Italian by Pisa University professors Alfonso Pompella and Stefano Garzonio, as well as with the joint efforts of Anush Torunyan, President of the Armenian Community of Rome and Lazio.
 
In her speech, the ambassador thanked for the Italian translation of the work and mentioned the Dantesque legend is one of the best early works of Yeghishe Charents, which immediately made his name known.
 
Extracts of Italian translations of the poem were read during the event.
