Leonid Kalashnikov, chairperson of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, has promised that the issue of Armenian driving license in Russia will be resolved in the near future, as Armen Yeghiazaryan, a deputy from the "Bright Armenia" Party, informed during the briefing. “He literally said the following: “Consider that the issue has already been resolved”.

At the same time, Yeghiazaryan expressed hope that the process would not be delayed.

Recall that Kalashnikov visited Armenia a few days ago and held a series of meetings with the leadership of the National Assembly, representatives of the formerly ruling Republican Party of Armenia. Leonid Kalashnikov is a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. Now the citizens of countries, where the Russian language has an official status, have the right to work with national driving licenses in Russia (Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan).
