101th anniversary of First Armenian Republic celebrated in Tbilisi (photos)

The 101st anniversary of the independence of the First Republic of Armenia was celebrated in Tbilisi.

On May 28, at the Church of the Holy Etchmiadzin in Tbilisi, a national greeting was held for the brightness of the Republic of Armenia's future and the peaceful and prosperous life of its people.

Then an event dedicated to First Republic Day took place at the Hayartun Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia.

Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan touched upon the symbolism of the day and spoke about the role and importance of the First Armenian Republic.

Historian Enik Tadevosyan delivered a lecture. The students of the Hayartun Center presented a documentary, songs and musical performances.
