Mayor Luigi Brugnaro decided to protect the city from destruction due to the influx of tourists in a radical way.

Getting into the "black list" will allow you to enter the necessary restrictions when visiting a unique and popular city on the water. The last straw that prompted the mayor to take radical measures was the collision of the ship with a cruise liner on one of the main canals of Venice. According to, the Italian authorities have repeatedly rejected proposals to limit the visits of the city. If Brugnaro’s request is approved by UNESCO specialists, the city will be on the list of endangered World Heritage sites. In the first place, the changes will affect the reduction of tourist traffic.
